Observational Survey Design
My work on EELGs and LRDs in CEERS demonstrated that our ability to recover galaxies depends directly on the presence of medium-band photometric filters. As a result, I proposed additional medium-band coverage and this community need has been addressed by the now prolific data in the CEERS footprint accomplished by my SPAM program(program ID 8559, PI: K.Davis, Co-PI: R. Larson, Larson & Davis 2026 et al., in prep). The CEERS footprint now represents the most photometrically complete of the MINERVA field targets, with coverage from all NIRCam wide-band and medium-band filters, the largest spatial area among any field with similarly complete coverage. Our SPAM team has reduced the SPAM data along with the original CEERS coverage and publicly available photometry that overlap the CEERS footprint for a complete, master dataset. This work is ongoing.
I have also contributed to other observing programs, namely the OCEANS program for which I provided ranked catalogs for MSA masks with another graduate student, Madisyn Brooks, and the THRILS program which targeted ~20 EELGs from my 2024 catalog.
